EET 4150 LAB EXERCISE #1 Analog Systems Design
INSTRUCTIONS: Perform the 3 designs listed below. Show all design steps/calculations. Use
MultiSim to verify all designs. Hardwire the first two circuits in the lab. Compare the output
with that from MultiSim. (Use the LM741 Op-Amp with +/- 18V as DC sources.)
1. Design an inverting amplifier with a gain of 27.
2. Design a non-inverting amplifier circuit to amplify the small output voltage of a
transducer of 1
3 V peak to deliver an output voltage of 8V peak to a 3.9 k load. Assume
a signal frequency of 1 kHz.
3. Design an op amp circuit to calculate the average (positive) of three inputs.
