Laboratory Report

Learning outcomes:

1. To communicate technical information using written and graphical techniques. 2. To analyse the results and discuss appropriately 3. To be able to critically assess the experiment. 4. To compare the results with numerical (or analytical results).

This written report is worth 30% of the module (or 100% of the lab component).

The task

You will perform both labs but will submit a written report on only one of the two lab

experiments identified by Lab 1 and Lab 2:

Lab 1: Flow of compressible fluids

Lab 2: Flow over an Aerofoil

You may submit a report on Lab 1 or Lab 2 depending on your preferences. You

should use your own data generated during the lab session. In terms of marking the

lab reports, there are no preferences between Lab 1 and Lab 2; both labs have equal

marks and importance.

Report Structure

This is short report where emphasis is given on data analysis and discussion.
