Exploring Access to Healthcare for the Homeless Population in Green Bay, Wisconsin

The homeless population of Green Bay, Wisconsin has limited means (monetary, transport, education – access in general) to ensure that their health needs are met. Our hopeful vision of the future is that the homeless population has increased health literacy, easier means for transportation, and access to care that is affordable for them, resulting in better health overall.

Sustainability was demonstrated by locking in the progress the NEW Medical and Dental Clinic, St. John the Evangelist Homeless Shelter, WIC, and Planned Parenthood have provided, and built on it by reaching out to the population directly and giving them the information needed to access the care they require.
