The book shows audience how easy and seductive that people crave for gaining a little bit of power by seeing others as objects, enemies, or props to generate fear. The book also shows the power of language by offering a different kind of language that people might use to short-circuit that mechanism as well as how governments use language to achieve certain goals. In other words, the book Look suggests that violence is conducts against our language in which the poems see the costs of war as the insidious abuses against our everyday speech.
