Protractor

Clear tape

Drinking straw

Thread

Paper clip as weight Other similar objects can work.

Option 1 - Using the printout provided to read the angle.

Tip:

Make sure the thread passes through the line reading 0° when your clinometer is leveled.

Option 2 - Using a regular protractor to read the angle.

Tip:

Make sure the straw lines up with the baseline of the protractor. The straw should be aligned with 180°
