My research was focuses on the nursing jobs, I was surprised by the difference in salaries if the person only completes a certification, license or 4 years degree. A CAN-Certified Nursing Assistant they can start around $9.00 an hour, LPN-Licensed Practical Nurse, 2 years degree, they start at $20.00 an hour and the RN-Register Nurse, which is a four-year degree in a university or 3 years in a community college their salaries start at $30.00 an hour with the bachelor degree and $29.00 an hour with the associate degree.

I looked at a interesting variety of professions from near and far locales. I was certainly surprised by what the "average" salary was, according to the websites I had researched. I would have expected over $25 for a college professor, but the website reported that in North Carolina, that was a whopping 41% below the national average! That speaks volumes about our state's educational standards. Also, that babysitting was a profession with an average national salary of over $13 dollars. The mercenary payscale was differing from daily allotments to yearly pay which bordered on outrageous, depending on the client and location as well as type of assignment.
