Closure:
What have you learned about creating a mouse? (Teacher lets students explain the steps they did until they formed a complete mouse to check their level of understanding).
Do you have any questions about what you have learned? (Teacher to give exit tickets to students and have them write any questions they may have on a slip of paper with their name, and place them in a common bin as they leave the class).
Extension Activity:
Draw and color a cat on a piece of paper. Use the color red, brown, and blue to color the ears, eyes, and body. (For each body part, use a different color).
Reflection/Assessment of the Activity:
The activity plan focuses on promoting active learning through the development of children’s verbal and written communication skills, gross and fine motor skills, and critical thinking skills. The teacher will assess students learning by monitoring their learning, offering constructive feedback, and assisting students in reflecting on and improve their learning. The teacher will employ formative assessment that will feature as an essential part of teaching and learning (Ozan & Kincal, 2018). Through formative assessment, the teacher will continuously monitor student learning and offer constant feedback to improve teaching and student learning. This assessment is focused on promoting high student academic achievement .

You need to use your North Carolina Foundations for Early Learning and Development book or link provided under Key Assessment II tab to list your objectives using NCFELD objectives. For more clarity see instructor videos.
You will use your NCFELD book or link to coordinate your objectives of activity to set indicators listed under the NCFELD objective listed above in Goals.
What about knowledge of DAP? Knowledge of book and mice to extend conversations? Etc. What you have is good.
Is this DAP for an NCPreK or NC Head Start classroom?
It was not necessary to use any outside sources other than classroom gained knowledge from throughout our lessons and NCFELD. Please offer your own thoughts. You should compare your student's performance with your set NCFELD goals and indicators to see how they do. Was it fun? Children learn through play.
