Assignment Details:

Your individual task is to prepare a memo-style justification/recommendation report on why it is necessary for front desk staff to be familiar with attractions in this city.

After attending the initial meeting, each student will select an approved tourism attraction from the list provided and create a justification/recommendation report. You will present your recommendation in the second meeting to compare the features and benefits of why your attraction should be the one chosen for the FAM tour.

Follow the outline provided in Learn to structure the report/memo.

Secondary research is required for this assignment. Secondary research implies that you are gathering information that has been authored by someone else and this means you must cite your sources; using the APA documentation style is expected.

Copy and pasting any portion of information published on a website is plagiarism. Simply including web links or book names at the end of the assignment is not acceptable. Your assignment must include in-text citations and a Works Cited page. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Any student plagiarizing work will receive a failing grade on the assignment and/or course and will be subject to disciplinary action per program policies.

Assignment pieces must be typed, Arial, Calibri, Cambria or Times New Roman are acceptable fonts in 12 point. The body of the report should be a minimum of two pages. Include a cover page. The cover page will include assignment title, your name, course number, due date, instructor's name, and College name.

Due Date: See Learn Calendar and/or Dropbox for the due date. Late assignments will be deducted 10% per day (weekend counts as two days) and will not be accepted after three days.
