The Relationship between Employees Productivity and Organization with Current Dimensions of Effective Communication Flow

Abstract

(Don't tab over an abstract)

Effective organizational communication is a critical factor in ensuring organizational success and productivity. Effective communication is critical in an organization as major operational decision making is hunched on it. Research (Place some scholars behind this statement.) evidence provided by scholars in the field of organizational communication shows that there is a close relationship between employees’ productivity and internal communication model and system within an organization. The content of this paper is a literature review that evaluates various sources to establish the link between employee performance and organizational communication. With the analysis of the selected sources, it is notable and conclusive that employee performance and productivity are highly dependent on organizational communication, where high employee productivity is linked to effective internal communication. Low productivity is related to the weak communication system.

Introduction (Don't bold the very first header of a paper. It's a weird APA rule)

Evidence by various scholars such as Thomas et al. (2009) shows that a well-established and organized internal communication within the organization increases trust and is normally associated with increased organization (Try not to use the same word several times in the same sentence. (Organization)) success. Provided results by the scholars indicate that effective organizational communication plays an important role in the development of trust between the organizational management team and the employees. The content of this paper is a literature review that evaluates various scholarly articles to establish and fill the existing gap in the field of organizational management. The paper looks at the existing relationship between organizational communication and employee productivity as below.

Organizational communication

As revealed in the study of Van et al. (2006), communication contributes a lot to an organization, especially supervisory communication in organizational functioning. According to their (restate the scholar. So, According to Van et al. (2006), organizational..) school of thought, organizational communications promote administrative efficacy as it recaps the role of interaction between the management and the workforce. With a well-established organizational communication, management officials are able and capable to achieve motivational and competence purposes within the organization. (Make sure you don't add a bunch of random spaces.) Notably, from these authors' (State the scholar here.) schools of thought, the area of communication is crucial in the maintenance and success of an established institution (Karanges, Johnston, Beatson & Lings, 2015). There, in any case, communication does not function effectively in an organization between teams, subordinates, and the management of the organization; it is an indication of the overall organization failure. To this note, without effective communication, it can be very challenging for the management and supervisory team within any organization to ensure effective and productivity of the team without effective and functional organizational communication.

This notion (Restate your main thought.) of argument is also supported by the argument of Sliburyte (2004) who stated in his studies that management need have a vivid knowledge of the existing complexities within the life of an organization and an effective communication need between the supervisory team and employees. Sliburyte (Year), further states that effective communication within an organization portrays a positive picture and acts as a motivational tool in an organization which further leads to the achievement of set goals and objectives (Gochhayat, Giri & Suar, 2017). Based on these previous studies, it can be reasoned that there is an existing relationship between effective communication and organization productivity as well as property. Therefore, there the management of any organization based on the argument of Sliburyte (2004) and Van et al. (2006), can employ effective internal communication as a toolkit for success. Manages could also establish measurable communication models which can act as an indicator of success and productivity.

Effective communication is, in this manner, a tool that can effectively be exploited to achieve straight-line success within an (This is a really good sentence. Note how you weave the scholar into your sentence without drawing too much attention to it. Replicate this throughout.)organization as well as a model for measuring progress (Jiang &Men, 2017). It is therefore necessary based on the study of Van et al. (2006), for managers to evaluate organizational communication and come up with the most appropriate communication system that is measurable and effective for the achievement of the set organizational goals and objectives. Efficient as well as effective internal communication between the management and employees is a necessary tool for success.

Further analysis of the study conducted by Pollitt and Brown in the year (2008), adds weight on the notion of the Sliburyte (2004) and Van et al. (2006) that there is a link between successful organizational productivity and organizational communication. According to the duo (Wrong word. Duo would be appropriate if it was two scholars, but since it's two separate studies, you'd want to use something else.), their employee's motivation and increased productivity cannot be achieved by other incentives apart from well-established communication. These two authors state in their evaluation of the topic of employee management and productivity that any organization cannot prosper without effective communication (Liu, Ko & Chapleo, 2017). They argue that an organization is not able to do better when the management is not able to achieve high productivity as well as the organizational objectives. The authors point out that there is a need for the management to listen attentively to the employees giving values to their individual needs as well as strength. According to these authors, this is a type of incentive which promotes teamwork and motivates workers at the same time leading to increased production. Evidently from the real-life point of view, effective communication within various organizations has resulted in the significant increase of profits taking the case of Walmart strategy of effective communication strategy, for instance, effective communication is great for productivity.

Effective Internal Communication

Thomas et al. (2009), came to a finding that there is an existing relationship between the organization's communication and quality of work in an organization. The authors also found in their study that there is a need for the establishment of an effective communication system (What is the system. Explain it, don't just say that there was a system. You want to immediately explain the system and then give an example.) within an organization to attain maximum productivity (Quirke, 2017). Thomas et al. (Year after every mention of a scholar. I won't mention this again, but it's true throughout your paper.) further, in their discussion, argued that there is a need for any organization to pay attention to its internal communication based on the fact that it has a huge impact. The argument was based on the reasoning that communication within an organization can either affect in terms of performance and productivity (Yeomans & FitzPatrick, 2017).

In this manner, they argued that a well-established communication hunkered on a measurable model (What sort of measurable models. Give some examples.) gives the organization a good picture and acts as a motivational tool for increased productivity. While on the other hand, lack of effective communication between management and employees negatively impacts an organization since it promotes mistrust and makes employees feel devalued, thus reduced productivity (Malhotra & Ackfeldt, 2016). Thus, in the essence of their findings, the authors brought light to the existing relationship between organizational communication and employee productivity. It can also be noted from their findings that a functioning supervisory communication system (Give an example of the system.) is a necessary tool in any organization for that specific organization to attain maximum productivity and successfully achieve the set goals and objectives.

The author (State the author here.) in light to their study findings highlighted various factors that can limit an organization form attaining an effective communication from within (Pažėraitė & Repovienė, 2018). They termed this as internal effective communication barriers and stated that manages must act according to by eliminating these barriers in order to attain increased productivity. Another scholar (This is true throughout your paper, but you don't call out the authors like this in this sort of paper. You can say, According to Smythe (2008), THIS THING. Or, you can just state the main point and then source the scholar afterwards. I won't mark this everywhere in your paper, but it's something to fix throughout.) by the name Smythe in his (2008), in addition to the above findings (What above findings? Haven't seen this author in this paragraph yet.), added that effective internal communication also involves systematically organized data management (Why is this study referenced again after you already referenced Smythe? If you start a sentence with "according to this person..." then don't end with a completely different source. You CAN have more than one scholar or study in a sentence, but then you wouldn't call out one specific scholar. You would instead state the general finding "Effective internal communication..." and then state both studies afterwards, so "Effective internal communication also involves systematically organized data management (Constantin & Baias, 2015; Smythe, 2008)." Or, you would state "Many scholars (SOURCES) have found..."Constantin & Baias, 2015). In his (Who? Restate scholar.) study findings, he found that without a well-established communication and data storage system, an organization lacks data for assessment and evaluation, thus unable to conduct performance measurement. Such organizations also require data for action planning and employee performance assessment, which are critical factors for productivity (Malhotra & Ackfeldt, 2016). The author (Who?) also stated within the study that there is a need for corporation between organizational administration and employees, a factor which can only be achieved through effective communication. He (Unless you JUST stated the scholar and it's clear who you are referring to, then you don't use personal pronouns. Instead, restate the author, or transition to the main point and just source the scholar at the end of the sentence. I'm not going to mark this throughout your paper anymore, but it is true throughout.) also noted that there is a need for the organization to evaluate the communication skills of managers’ ability to motivate workers through communication. Smythe (2008), further noted that there is a need for the organization to investigate internal organizational communication and provided the management with appropriate tools to attain effective internal communication as its one of the means towards attaining higher performance among employees and increased organizational productivity (Verčič & Vokić, 2017).

Just as argued by Pollitt (These scholars do not appear in your references at the end of your paper.) and Brown (2008), Smythe (2008) (missing word) that there is a need for organizations to ensure that employees have the perception of being valued. The management through a well-established communication system(Give some examples of what a well-established communication system is.) should capture the needs of employees and involve them in decision making. According to the author, such practice is good for organizational performance as the inclusion of employees’ opinions in decision making is crucial for internal communication development and improvement (Quirke, 2017). Moreover, their involvement in decision making makes them feel valued and motivated, which is related to other organizational variables such as productivity.

Conclusion

Based on the evaluation of the highlighted scholars' findings, it is evident that there is an existing relationship between organizational communication and employee performance and productivity. The authors found in an agreeable conclusion that employees' motivation and increased performance is launched on effective communication, involvement in decision making, and a well-established communication model that is measurable.

Your research paper will need to have a new and more detailed conclusion.
