During this time working toward my Master’s, I have learned how to effectively incorporate different learning styles as well as learning how to apply them to my everyday use. I have also learned to effectively coordinate with other team members on how to work together for the betterment of the students. I have learned how to redirect my strongest points and apply them. I have learned how to go the extra mile and research different programs and different ways to get the student more involved in their learning and interested in the lesson that it being taught. I have learned how to effectively hold the attention span of children that have learning disabilities and that become frustrated and wanting to give up. Mostly, what I have learned to do is ask the student what seems to work for them and what does not work for them and apply that their everyday learning.
