Journal Article Summary 

Choose  one  article to summarize from the journal articles located under this module. The synopsis should be clear, concise, double-spaced, and between 200 and 250 words. Improper spelling, grammar, and punctuation will result in deduction of 5 points  per error. The student’s name, course number and section, and date are to be typed at the top of the page with the article referenced just below in APA format (see example in your syllabus of what your page should look like). Please utilize on-campus/internet resources for correct APA formatting of your reference. Incorrect/missing APA reference will result in deduction of 10 points. Summaries turned in without the student’s name, course number and section, date, or summaries with too many or too few words will result in a grade of ZERO. If you have 251 words or more, you will receive a 0% on this assignment. If you have 149 or fewer words, you will receive a 0% on this assignment. This assignment is as much about following directions as it is about comprehension and synthesis of information. You have to be able to follow directions/orders exactly to be a nurse. Only typed summaries will be accepted. Submit the assignment as a Word document.
