Part 2: Written Portion

This is the written portion of the assignment. Please include the following in your typed paper:

1. List of Characteristics: Include a full list of characteristics in list form.

2. Respond to the following questions:

a. IF MARRIED or DATING- Discuss the likelihood (or not) of domestic violence in the marriage or relationship. IF SINGLE or WIDOWED, discuss the likelihood (or not) of your person experiencing sexual violence/harassment. Identify both RISK and PROTECTIVE factors that may or may not suggest maltreatment between the individual and his/her spouse or co-workers. Remember to identify all relevant factors from both this assignment, as well as previous assignments, in making your determination. You MUST use the information from the following websites as they apply to your individual:

· CDC: Sexual Violence/Sexual Harassment

· UN: What is Sexual Harassment?

If you do decide that there is a likelihood of abuse or harassment, identify what type and which partner is likely to be the victim, and why.

b. Discuss whether your individual has achieved generativity. If so, provide evidence to support your determination. If not, explain why s/he hasn't achieved generativity and discuss developmental barriers that have prevented it. Be sure to include discussion of previous developmental changes/issues that the individual has encountered.

Your answers should not reflect your opinions or personal experiences. Your score will be based on how well you support the answer you provide. Be sure to explain both how you used each of the characteristics you discuss (e.g., are they RISK or PROTECTIVE factors?) and provide support for your statements/decisions based on information from the textbook, including page numbers.
