This article explores how video games exert influence on the academic performance and behaviors of young children. Based on the controlled study, the boys who play games as the award get better academic performance and behavior better than those who own video games. The study illustrates that the video games impact the after-class activities as well as learning skills.
In this article, the controlled study lasts four months, and the results of this study is convincing. Besides, it provides practical suggestions for parents and teachers to pay attention to the influence of video games on the after-class activities. However, the boys’ behaviors are reported by parents and teachers, which should be examined carefully.
This article provides solid support to the influence of video games on children’s academic performances and behaviors, and the way the controlled study carried out shows the diversity of approaches to study the influence of video games.

This article researches how young children respond to video games. The effects of video games are assessed with the help of software that can trace different changes in children’s minds. According to this article, the data collected can serve to improve the design of video games. In this article, the children’s ages range from 3 to 6, which makes it easy to experiment. And the method applied to collect the data is advanced and useful, such as the recognition of facial expression change, and magnetic resonance image of the brain. Besides, it makes sense that video games should be well designed to improve their abilities.

This article focuses on the influence of violent video games on youth in China, which includes attitudes, and actual behaviors. According to this article, the analysis results show that the youth who have spend much more hours playing video games tend to have pro-violence attitudes.
In this article, the bivariate analysis works wells in finding the relationship between exposure to video games, attitudes toward violence and actual behaviors. Supported by the scientific method, the conclusion is convincing. Besides, it is worth noticing that the subject of this study are the youth from China.
The method applied in this article is inspiring and useful. And the variables used in the study will be important in the research paper. More importantly, the results provide solid evidence of the influence of video games on youth. In the research paper, it makes sense to take the attitudes toward violence into consideration.
