Question 1

The onset of Christianity can be traced back to what is believed to have been a miraculous birth of Jesus Christ that was consequently followed by an adult ministry, the death that occurred for three days, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The history of Christianity according to the Bible, Jesus Christ was born in what is believed to have been a humble Jewish family with his father, Joseph, being a carpenter while his mother, Mary, was a young peasant woman. Christians have a strong belief regarding the fact that the father of Jesus Christ was the Holy Spirit of God, establishing Jesus Christ as being fully divine and fully human. Among the earliest believers of Jesus Christ believed that Jesus was the messiah who was sent by God with the subject to saving the people of God from sin, slavery, and death. Christianity establishes the fact that God sent His son Jesus Christ in human form with subject to being understood by humans in a better way as a loving and caring parent (Guite, 2013).

Christianity is a strong religion that's is spread out across the globe. Christians have a strong foundation in Christianity whereby they strongly believe the fact that Jesus Christ was the son of God who is established as being fully divine and fully human; thus, subject to believing in him, Christians believe they're subjected to inheriting eternal life. Additionally, Christians have a strong belief regarding the fact that Jesus Christ died for humanity while God ended up raising him from the dead, and they also believe in the second coming of Jesus at the end of time. Additionally, Christians across the globe are strong believers of the trinity, which entails the three parts of God, namely God the Father, the Son, and the holy spirit, whereby the holy spirit is established as the presence of God in the world. Christians have a strong belief regarding the fact that the rising of Jesus Christ from the dead is a way that God showed that the message that was being preached by Jesus regarding love and forgiveness had great powers in comparison to death, consequently following the example of Jesus through following His ways and teachings that would translate to eternal life after death. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is presented as a significant sign of the salvation of God that has been offered to all people across the globe. After the resurrection, the followers of Jesus Christ started spreading the message of salvation across the world that lead to the creation of the Christian church. Currently, there are approximately two billion Christians that are spread across the globe (Ping, 2010).

Generally, Christianity has been established to be encompassing a wide range of faith groups and denominations. Doctrine can be defined as being something that is taught, a creed of principles that are consequently presented with the motive of belief or acceptance. Even if there are theological differences existing among Christians across the globe, they're established to be holding most of this set of beliefs in common. This makes Christianity unique across the globe in comparison to other religions bearing in mind it’s the largest religion in the world (Bock & Webb, 2009).
