Some call his art as lacking artistic sense but only focusing on the popular and sellable products, therefore, they advocate that his artworks lack depth and are very basic. On the other hand, some considered his art as the opening of New Horizons and giving a new face to artworks having great importance in history.

The popularity of Jeff Koons expanded in the 1980s when he was discovered as a modern-day artist who performed in the world obsessed with media. He laid his on worship for the production of his artworks initially consisting of 30 artists having very specialized roles to play in the hole art development and production process. His method of working is art fabrication which involves multiple specialized artists to do their jobs and because of the extent of specialization, they cannot be performed by a single artist. This initial setup has now expanded to 1500 sqr meter area. And the strength of his assistants has also increased to nearly 100. Jeff developed a system of working which is called color by numbers. In this system, each area of the artwork is assigned a color and number to accordingly.

Throughout his game, Koons has focused on a specific type of Art production and each of them he called series. He called his very first works as Pre-new series. This series involves the development of artwork involving everyday household objects depicted through various forms of light. Another notable artwork of the series involved the artistic display of vacuum cleaners in different forms of light. Another series of art Productions was called equilibrium series. He started working on these in 1983. For his research, he even contacted Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard Feynman. In one of his hand notable Productions, he filled a tank with distilled water and added some salt in it. Then 3 basketballs were put in the tank and due to the presence of salt in the water, these balls remain suspended in the water. In another of his artworks, the tank was filled half with the same distilled water and the balls were left floating in it half immersed and half out of the water. The next series was called Encased series which involved supporting stack balls in a glass container still packed in cardboard.

Balloon Dog

Balloon dog has been the most valuable production of Jeff Koons in all his career, with the successful auction of a balloon dog in 58.4 million dollars this artist created an all-time record of selling the most expensive artifact. Koons has always propagated the natural and original faces of life. According to him, there are no hidden meanings or aspects of human life. With the glass finish and shiny reflective surface of the bedroom dog, he shows that the nature of life is purely original and reflective. He says that this sculpture is also a depiction of the childhood pleasant memories and valuable experiences. He Associates the reflectiveness of the balloon dog as a sign of Purity during childhood.

American propaganda

Jeff's first major retroactive traveled to Europe. But it really started in New York. It was the first time that Whitney had given the whole museum to a single artist. It is rare for an artist to be so honored yet so controversial.

In 2014, at Whitney Museum there was an exhibition of Jeff Koons artifacts. Popular as he is in modern America, scores of people especially youngsters came to look at the ingenious works of the artist. The exhibition was named as Jeff Koons A retrospective. The art of Jeff Koons, as well as his followers and viewers, defy all the conservative and classical standards of art and culture. As much of his followers consisted of teens and youngsters, a selfie Drive Crept in a rather prestigious and artistic location as well as location. Hundreds and thousands of visitors took selfies with the non-traditional and unique artifacts of this artist. Unique and modern, it was everybody's desire to save their moment with the sculptures and add this exhibition. Hundreds and thousands of these pictures and Selfies stormed various social networking platforms, foremost being the Instagram.

As most art lovers as well as artists attached or a certain level of class and artistic decency with culture and art and literature. The act of taking selfies offended many conservative art followers. They were upset by the casual behavior of most visitors depicted in the Selfies they posted on the social networking platforms. They considered art as something sacred and the Whitney Museum was like a cultural temple for them.

As is always the case with the art of Jeff Koons, media and artist short disdain and dislike for casual attitude. But later it turned out that this frenzy of taking Selfies at the occasion was not a natural outcome of Jeff Koons activities, his art or the visitors. Brother, was an inside job. The Whitney Museum has been distributing handouts to many young followers as well as art lovers through its organization called youth insights. This organization which can be called as in propaganda of the museum, encourage mostly teen and youngsters to spread did love for Whitney Museum around the globe. The tagline on the handouts read “Koons is great for selfies". It was a solo act of the museum and did the Jeff Koons have nothing to do with it. But the media and other artists put all the blame on the artist and the art he produced and took this as an opportunity to criticize.

This was an example of how Jeff Koons had to face propaganda of Us Media and his opponents due to the non-traditional and unique nature of his art Productions. The novelty he introduced in the process of creating and producing artifacts is criticized by many other artists and art lovers. They call it the industrialization of Art.

Nazi Propaganda

Resistance to changes in the standard ways and classical approach towards art is particularly strong in the French culture. In 2016, as a sign of friendship and Brotherhood, Jeff Koons presented the proposal to willingly provide a huge new artifact as a gift to the City of Paris. It was supposed to be 40 feet tall artifact. It captured the imagination of a banquet of Phillips held in a hand. The location of this piece of art would have been outside the Museum of Modern Art as well as the Palais de Tokyo. It was intended to be as a sign of solidarity with those 130 people who lost their lives in the attacks which were carried out in November 2015. And for this display of grief and solidarity with the French people it was declared that in the artifact's creation, the finances for all the expenses and costs will be provided by private owners.

It was immense gestured as was stated by the mayor of Paris that he regards this gesture as an unforgettable connection between Paris and America. Even then some voices in the art circles did not positively grasp the idea and called it huge hand grasping a bunch of flowers. They could not identify the intentions as well as the Ambitions behind the offer that would strengthen the relations between the two Nations.  The indications of this problem converted into a strong movement against this artifact of Jeff Koons. Conservative French artist not only seem to disagree but some of them totally reject the idea.

The level of resentment against the artwork of Jeff was evident from the letter which was sent to a newspaper bearing signatures of 25 prestigious French artists. And they showed no hesitation in showing their disdain and criticism of Jeff Koons offer. Adding that to the current political and Global reputation of America, which is at its lowest, the idea of an American initiative through non-traditional and controversial art piece has become extremely difficult to sell to French people. From the start, the works of Jeff Koons considered by most prestigious French artist as industrial art and he himself was thought of as a corporate creator. Putting one of his Creations outside the Palais de Tokyo which is considered as a symbol of nursery and Homeland to French artist and French art, is incomprehensible for most French artists. They also hold the opinion that the location selected highlights the purpose of product introduction rather than commemoration. Two other reasons for opposition to the artifacts proposed location are its placement near seine embankment and secondly, the reason is that it may block some of the views of Eiffel Tower. But it is also argued that if French with all their cultural background and their understanding and acceptance of all forms of Art, cannot accept an artifact in the center of cultural Paradise then maybe there is no other place in the world we're such a piece of art can be placed.

In the past, Paris has shown much more acceptance and appreciation for art pieces such as this. In this context, one can recall Louvre pyramid and the Christmas tree produced for Palace Vendome. The objections on the location of the art piece also seem reasonable as the exact venue has never been considered as an excellent spot for enjoying the sight of Eiffel Tower. It was stated in the letter there to propose sport for the placement of the art piece, might be for the sole purpose of rewarding Koon’s with exposure, as these two museums have no connection with the incident of 2015 attacks. Rather this Monument can be placed somewhere closer to Bettis Eastern Edge where the killings actually took place.

The biggest hurdle in providing a defense to these allegations is the repetition and perception of Jeff Koon’s artworks. Many considered his pieces of work as childish some consider them as Industrial and some say it is just for the appetite of the flashy and wealthy elite. So, the banquet of tulips even before its creation hold a very strong perception created by Jeff Koon’s other artworks such as balloon dog made of shiny and fleshy Steel and the favorite monkey of Michael Jackson sitting in his lap.

It can also be argued that the flashy and shiny nature of art pieces of Jeff Koon’s is a mismatched with the sad incident it is being dedicated to. But on the other hand, some also argue that the colorful and cheerful effects expected to arise from the monument would depict the pleasure and happiness all of those who later lost their lives in this incident. But still, Jeff Koon’s with all his background might not be the first choice for creating a monument for commemorating the sad incident of 2015

Conclusion

One of the things that his art tries to communicate to the people is that they are perfect. In life first, they have to learn to accept themselves. And then we can have Transcendence into the acceptance of others. He can be termed as a combination of Billy Graham and other similar artists. He has even invented a language which can be considered as one of the most fantastic achievements any artist can ever aspire for. Some people consider him as extremely bright and extremely clued-updates. He has already created some very medieval pieces which depicted spiritual powers. Some people consider his art as fantastic and rendering life but others regard it as only producing marketable products. His art is simple and effective. He is always willing to talk about something new.
