Research in criminal justice is very essential so that to be able to provide and develop the justice policies as well as the user of the advanced technologies that help the; aw enforcement agencies. Statistical data has been used so that it can help to improve the system and then check the concerns that have been presented in the past. Data is required and collected in the cases of crime rate as well as the victimization rates including the success rates so that it can help to track the success rates of dealing and handling crimes. The statistical data helps to make predictions of when and the next is likely to occur in the future.

Without the use of the statistical data, then the policies in the criminal justice system would not be able to work and they will not be able to exist. It will be difficult to predict the crimes and what is likely to take place and then the correct measure to be taken. These will cause the relationship between the agencies of law enforcement and citizens to have an issue and suffer more than it has been suffering. When the leadership of the criminal justice system lacks the statistical data, then then they will not be able to hear and et the biased opinions so that they can pass the policies (White, Lester, Gentile & Rosenbleeth, 2011).

Statistical data can be used to show the training and the other program of education that is used in the criminal justice system so that they can be allowed to handle their jobs and even go home to the family. More so, the statistical data is used to predict the policing in the criminal justice system. The model that is used in statistics is used to assume the increasing risks of the cases of crime and then analyze the measure that can be taken so that to prevent then crimes from happening now and in the future (White, Lester, Gentile & Rosenbleeth, 2011).

The statistical data can be used to predict where the crimes are likely to take place, more so, they will then use that data to reduce the risk effectively to the levels that can be managed. The increase of police visibility will be used and helpful to reduce the crimes that are likely to happen in an area. The statistical will be used to support the increase of the patrol around the areas that are invested with crimes. When the data shows the areas that are the hot spot of different crimes then more police will be employed in the area for patrol (Davidson, 2019). The spatial analysis of the crimes around the community will help to solve the cases of community problems by informing the police who carry out the operations.

The statistical data shows the resources that are likely to be used to curb crimes. A better understanding of the spatial concentrations helps to show the crimes and the locations which are at risk as well as the subsequent crime that happens in a relatively short time. The proactive policies that will need to be used will be the one that helps to prevent the crime instead of an actual arrest. The other essential area that needs to be checked is the area of funding, statistical data shows the police departments that need funding with equipment. The decisions that are made in these grants for criminal justice are supposed to be based on the research projects which depend on the facts (White, Lester, Gentile & Rosenbleeth, 2011).

In conclusion, the statistical data are meant to help and support the criminal justice system when it comes to policy. The data helps in the funding of the different elements so that to ensure the programs are running effectively as well as the policies. When the data is not available, the programs would also not be there to support the risk prevention measures. The strategies will be very long since they will be based on the personal opinions of the involved offenders. Statistics make sure the truth, as well as facts, are the main focus.
