Comment 1

APA 6th ed has one heading and also is never bold

Strikethrough.

Level one heading incorrectly formatted

Level one heading is incorrectly formatted. See page 48 for APA 7th ed. manual for assistance. It should be centered and bolded with first word, major words of four or more letters capitalized, and there is no punctuation after a centered heading. Level one headings are used to denote the intro title in APA 7th ed., indicate each assignment and the conclusion of the paper. The first heading after the introductory paragraph is always a level one heading.

Acronyms are not to be used in titles or headings or to begin a sentence. Acronyms such as RN, ER, BUN, ICU, , etc. need to be spelled out the first time they are used in a professional paper. After the first time it is spelled out, the acronym initials can be used throughout the paper., except in titles, headings, or as the first word in a sentence. Regardless of how simple it seems never assume the reader knows what it means.

Et al use is incorrect

use of et al includes no period after et and a period and then a comma after al Example would be: (Fisher et al., 2016). There also is no comma after the name of the author when using et al. Note also when using et al, only the first primary author is named so if you have 6 or more authors, name the first one and use et al.

Journal article name formatting incorrect

Titles of Journal articles are to be in lower case, only the first word, word after a dash or colon, and proper nouns are to be capitalized. No italics are used in journal article names if the journal title is noted. If the journal article was retrieved online or on a website, and no name of a journal is provided, the article name is italicized. Page 313 in APA manual begins reference examples.

Journal title formatting is incorrect

formatting the names of Journals is that all major words are capitalized and all words are italicized. pate 313+ in APA 7th ed. manual for examples.
