Information technology in Global Economy
Discussion 1: With the advancements in technology and the introduction of new software and tools, it is known that Any organization of any country needs clear technological growth plans. They consider the vast amount of relatively spontaneous innovation that is taking place today, even in places where emerging technologies are not supposed to have a significant impact. It is also essential that the companies which are technologically developed in terms of advancements and the latest software will be leading in all the aspects. With this, I agree with the statement that countries and companies require strategies for technological development, given the tremendous amount of largely spontaneous creativity that occurs today, often in areas where new technologies are not expected to exert a significant influence—making sure that these companies are the driving force among their respective countries. (Lund, 2020) The specific approaches would help concentrate more on improving unique technologies that will be in demand for decades, ensuring that the framework is adequate for upgrades and that a new application is not required. Countries are continually working to develop advanced technical innovations to achieve a competitive advantage over the other competitors. When we see the negative side of these strategies, the lack of exposure, restrictions on information gathering, and sharing along, leading to a decrease in the application's performance. Besides that, the country's specific policies are entirely useful. They will be effective in the innovators' ongoing efforts in the development of new enhanced technologies to make them applicable to their nation's citizens first and then extend them to other regions of the world, taking other useful items to the countries. (Riel Miller, 1998) Not only the technology but other factors like creativity also gained a lot of achievements alongside technological enhancements as without innovation; there will be no technology as without any concept. It would be challenging to make an application to work. Without technology being able to do any work in a more straightforward and digitized manner, existing technology will not be a success, which is why there must be strong techniques that concentrate on enhancing technological growth. The strategy is fully explicit when the essential elements can be fully articulated by the top management team both in their actions and the words. It is required for organizations and countries to play with their strengths that forces the organization to drive innovation(Love, Priem, & Lumpkin, 2002). To drive innovation, technological development and implement spontaneous creativity with the process explicit strategy of the organization is required to be articulated. Brandenburger states that to foster creativity organizations are required to explicitly designed tools (Brandenburger, 2019). Organizations or even countries taking decisions allocated the resources by understanding the root cause of the problem did favor the different projects that were undertaken. But it is only through the implementation of explicit strategies setting up explicit targets for them lead to tremendous amount large spontaneous creativity that ensured technological development. By setting up explicit targets countries and organizations were able to allocate specific percentage of resources to initiate radical innovative projects. This made organizations and the government develop new offering that supported the long term development of the country or the organization. The implementation of an explicit innovative strategy helps technological developments and understand which practice within the organization can be food. It helps towards navigating the inherent trade-offs. To drive technological development crowdsourcing is used as development of technology should not be dependent on a few experts but is required to open up the process to everyone(Pisano, 2015). The problems are posted in a web platform and invite people to ask for solution. There are also open source software projects where the volunteers helps towards the development of the project or software like Python or Linux. The technological developed can also be co-created like IKEA which have a co-creation platform for the customers to develop the new product. But does the explicit strategy is required to be guided and monitored by the top management to provide better innovation and technological development? References Brandenburger, A. (2019, Mar-Apr).
