Problem Statement1

Currently the business if limited to physical purchases only with a very limited online website and also finding it difficult to keep track of sales to be able to make future informed decisions. The business would like to expand to online selling software that will also control and keep track on inventory, customer information, ordering, order tracking, and sales along with managing employees and all other brick- and mortar responsabilites.

Two Technologies

Two technologies I would reccomend would be a Big Data and Knowledge Managment and Business Analytics and business intelligence solutions.

Business Requirements

Objectives

By upgrading and intergrading new software to being a presence online as well and having the software to make informed decisions on what is selling and what to keep stocking and what to not keep in stock. New technology will also keep more accurate inventory and broaden the scope of customers to compete with bigger E-commerce companies in the same field. We would also like a software that will keep customer contacts, with also keeping their confidential information safe.

Project Description

To provide Peyton Approved with a IS that fulfills all their needs to run a brick and mortar business as well as a functioning online business.

Needs to implement a software system to keep track on inventory and online sales along with being able to proved order and tracking information

Technology Requirements

Technology needs to be able to run and inventory system, along with showing items in high demand. System needs to be able to safely store customer information. System needs to be able to provide accurate order information along with tracking information.
