Describe Wi-Fi, cellular service, and WiMAX.
Wifi and WiMax are used to create wireless network connections. Wifi is used to create small networks and used to connect printers, conmputers, gaming consoles. WiMax uses spectrum to deliver connection to network. WiMax is used to provide internet services such as Mobile Data and hotspots. Cellular service on the other hand is a type of wifi that you may receive onto your mobile devices when wifi or routers are not present. This is done through data roaming which enables users to have cellular service on the go to access certain things like the internet or social media apps. Wi-Fi is a wireless network technology that sends this data via internet connections through the air to wide area networks and on to non-wired computers. The primary purpose of WiMax is to offer wireless broadband. WiMAX is a wireless communications standard designed for creating metropolitan area networks (MANs). It is similar to the Wi-Fi standard, but supports a far greater range of coverage. While a Wi-Fi signal can cover a radius of several hundred feet, a fixed WiMAX station can cover a range of up to 30 miles.

What are the major drivers of mobile computing?
One of the major drivers of mobile computing is that you do not need a PC as much because you are able to do everything on your phone. Some of the things you are now allowed to do on your mobile device and do not need a PC for are email, video, mobile banking, etc. Another major driver of mobile computing is that it is more costly effective. For example, it cost less to own a cell phone than having to buy a PC. One other major driver of mobile computing is that it improves bandwidth. Mobile computing also improves the amount of data that can be transferred from one point to another within a network in a specific amount of time.
