It is common to have meat on the table two to three meals a day, but the problem with this is the demand for meat and dairy products has increased greatly, creating a need for faster production. Factory farms, also known as confined animal feeding operations (CAFOS,) have been the solution created by the food industry to meet the demands of consumers. This research exposes the consequences of the mass production of animals.

First, factory farms are not only unhealthy and inhumane towards animals. When animals are restrained together, not allowed to move, and a lot of the time injured by factory workers, they become sick and infected with various illnesses.
