Title: “Is college worth it”

In these modern days, intermediate school graduates and those who are not prepared to start their college education have started to ask different sorts of questions; Is college worth it? Every single person has at least answered this question at some point in their daily life. Besides, personally understanding that is still college is worth it was an easy decision to make. In my opinion, going to college is worth it because it comes with a lot of benefits includes achievements outside of the working environment and career satisfaction, and prolonged financial gain, among others. With increasing job opportunities that need advanced education, a college education is vital for succeeding in the today's job market. (Patricia, 2020)

However, the main reason for not accessing college education is increased students' loans over recent decades. Moreover, like a college education, it portrays a right image. An individual with a bachelor's degree can earn more than an individual who only has a high school diploma. "Americans with four-year college degrees made 98 percent more an hour on average in 2013 than people without a degree." (Leonhardt, 2014). A good life narrative experience that I can give is for someone with a high school diploma, working in a food processing company being paid a salary that amounts to $40000 annually.

Frankly, it may give the impression that the amount is a lot considering he/she does not have outstanding debts to pay. But for someone who understands that amount isn't enough because this individual does not have health insurance the amount that it will cost while seeking medical care, plus he/she has monthly bills and credit card debt, among others. If you do the math, that person's debts are like a graduate debt (Leonhardt, 2014). However, a graduate may get employed and settle his/her debts and becomes more stable financially than a middle school graduate.
