Assignment Objective: For your senior project proposal, this is the first part where you can establish and introduce your Senior (1) Project, your motivation, problem(s) you want to solve, and the project outcome or what you want to achieve. You should give the supervisor/s some basic ideas and background about the problem you are interested in so that the supervisor/s understand it before going to a more detailed and specific problem. You can tell the supervisor/s the significance of the problems and how can your project contribute to the field of information systems. The Proposal should address the following points:
1. Title: Please provide a title for your project.
2. Abstract: Please describe the underlying motivation behind your project and state your research question(s).
3. Introduction
a. Statement of the Problem
b. Research Aim/s and Objectives
c. Research Questions and/or Hypotheses
d. Expected outcomes/deliverables
4. Literature Review: This section requires that you use the internet to search for empirical studies in academic PEER REVIEWED journals. You should read at least (15) up to date studies that directly related to your topic.
a. What is known? Please describe what empirical research tells us about your topic.
b. Where is the GAP? Please describe the gap in the field that your study will address. Describe what we need to know that research fails to tell us.
c. What will your study contribute to our broader knowledge regarding this topic? (Think about both contributions to scholarship and/or society at large.)
