HI EVERYONE!

Received a few questions in the past about Part 2 specifically related to the rubric and if one needs to present for each article its strengths associated with systematic review, and level of evidence. 

The visual example I shared in doc sharing only contained an example of 1 specific article, not all 4 since it was only to serve as a visual reference.  Therefore, after review of the rubric and potential questions one would possibly ask, I want to provide clarity as to what is expected in the Power Point.

NO voice narration needed within this power point.  DO NOT use speaker notes. I want to see succinctly pinpointing content within the power point.

TO CLARIFY - Provide full citation of all 4 systematic review articles located AND identify the Level of Evidence (according to John Hopkins level of evidence – see doc sharing).  Then, present a detailed explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews overall AND as it relates specifically to your topic.  For this part, combine all the information (i.e., share info via synthesis).  I went ahead and made what I believe is an improved example of two main slides (see below pics).  Feel free to set your power point up any way you wish, or you can utilize the flow and arrangement of the visual guide if you like.

 

HANDOUT:  Earlier this month I shared a handout again called “Types of Articles”  - Revisit this handout as it does present systematic reviews and more. I also placed the handout in doc sharing.

 

I hope the above helps to clarify questions you might have.

Basic Rundown of each slide (FYI - title and reference page does not count towards total slide count):  

Slide 1: Title slide

Slide 2:  clinical issue of interest – identify and succinctly describe

Slide 3:  PICOT question - Identify and succinctly describe what each Population, Intervention....C...O....T

Slide 4:  Databases Selected for Search  - Identify 4 specific databases utilized to conduct search (why selected would be nice to know - also good place to bring in resource of support such as Walden Library resources)

Slide 5/6:  Articles Located - Here provide full APA citations for each article; identify level of evidence according to John Hopkins (see Types of Articles Handout).  If you need an additional slide here, that is OKAY.

Slide 7:  Strengths of Systematic Reviews - Here identify strengths of using systematic reviews. Demonstrate synthesis  --- Bring in support of course resources and additional outside resources.

Slide 8:  Reference list formatted in APA – no bullet points
