My concern regarding this paper is the extent to which the analysis of the scenes that are building on my theme need to go. Do I need to include analysis of all the scenes or I can pick on a few to demonstrate the theme?

The fantasy story The Wizard of Oz is very detailed film intending to communicate its theme in every aspect within the film. Many seemingly irrelevant details in the film have had a huge effect. Lighting helps set the tone for each scene, while clothing and makeup help us interact with the character's personality. Costumes, lights, hair, and makeup were used to help create The Wizard of Oz, resulting in a fantastic viewing experience. Making movies and making movies can be done in a variety of ways. The theme of finding a home is read throughout the scenes by fast building an environment that is pleasing and then the transformation of the environment demonstrates the peace that comes with the finding a home, which I equate to find a peace.

When Dorothy arrived in Oz, the lights were turned to color, bringing the film to life. After Dorothy House arrived in Oz, the film entered a dream world, and it changed her life at the time. When she encountered Glenda, the gentle witch, and her inept relatives, everything changed. This is how the lighting will tie the viewer to the film by instilling a sense of joy and satisfaction in them. Glenda, the good witch, appears in another bright and lively scene in the film; she shines, she smiles, and you can feel the benefits she offers. They begin to crash into bumps on the yellow brick road as the film progresses; as these scenes play out and the lights dim, they will drive down a long, dark road; you may be scared, but you know what will happen.

Makeup plays an important role in the development of each character's personality. The audience would be able to relate personality to people if the characters look like the people we imagined. Dorothy's ruddy cheeks and ponytail contributed to her cuteness. Since she is still young and unprepared for the world's ills, innocence can make us feel as though she wishes to return home. Since the wicked witch is portrayed in a green hue, we associate her with evil. Envy plays a big role in staying green, as shown by her contempt for Glenda, the good witch. The compassionate witch Glenda's makeup, on the other hand, is delightful, putting us at ease and helping us to unwind. By linking the overall appearance to what happened in the film, the visual appearance helps in seeing the big picture. This contrast of characters made possible by the make-up make us understand that away from home is not better than finding home. Away from home is attributed to evil and home is attributed to good things.

The film The Wizard of Oz illustrates that no matter how far you go, there is no place like home, implying that the grass is not always greener on the other side.
