INTRODUCTION

Change is so rapid today that leaders must do much more than stay the course to be successful. If they aren’t nimble and ready to adapt, they won’t survive. The key is to learn how to “leadershift.” In Leadershift, John C. Maxwell helps leaders gain the ability and willingness to make leadership changes that will positively enhance people's personal growth and their organization's effectiveness.

LEARNING GOALS:

By the end of this lesson module, you should be ready to identify, understand, and personally apply the following concepts:

· The process of changing your personal perspective in order to assume senior leadership, leaving behind former identities and behaviors that do not match the needs of your organization

· The process of personally committing to engage, embrace, and enact this change for yourself

· The 11 shifts toward success, including:

. Focus Shift from Soloist to Conductor

. Production Shift from Ladder Climbing to Ladder Building
