Introduction: Emergency Operations Center The emergency operations center (EOC) is a physical or virtual location from which coordination and support of incident management activities are directed. By coordinating response efforts between departments and stakeholders, the EOC allows the agency to provide faster and more effective and comprehensive incident response and to avoid duplicated efforts which may result in a waste of limited resources. This week's EOC Project falls under the category of 'applied theory'. An examination of the EOC will give you the opportunity to apply all theoretical concepts discussed throughout the course.
