Please use the attached Template to complete the Title and the Introduction sections. Keep this template and fill out the required sections week by week and submit it. For this week, here are the reuqirements:

Title & Introduction (20 points): The title about the relationship between two variables (at least one variable should be predominately in communication or related areas; 5 points.).

When working on this section, pay attention to the following things:

a. You must choose a narrow, specific topic. For instance use of mobile devices is too broad. However,  examining motivations for why millenials use smart phones for political information is more specific. You are going to spend a lot of time with this topic, so it is important to choose one that suits your interests.

b. At least two paragraphs (at least 150 words for each paragraph) of introduction based on academic literature why this relationship about the two variables are worth exploration (15 points, with at least five citations from academic journals. One missing citation will cause a three-point deduction).

       Explain why you think this is an important topic to investigate. That is, what will this add to the existing literature? Therefore, you might want to spend som  time researching the        topic to see what has been done on the topic and what are other areas that still need to be explored.
