Interview Option: it is critical that you assure anonymity. To do that use a pseudonym not the person’s name or other identifying information. There are many people in recovery who would be happy to speak with you.

· These papers MUST include the following to obtain full points: • The student’s questions and why they were chosen. You can develop your own questions, but some possibilities are: How long have you been in recovery? How were you impacted, and what areas were most affected? (Work, relationships, legal, financial, spirituality, self-esteem, etc.). What was most helpful in recognizing you need outside assistance to help you stop using? What are you doing that helps you remain clean/sober? What advice would you give a person who wants to help an individual with a problem like you experienced?

· A description of your experience in completing this assignment and your findings. Talk briefly about how you felt when you started the assignment and how you felt when it was completed.

· A summary of the interview answers.

· A conclusion including your perception of what you learned. Ask yourself, how the results of your research tied into the discussions and readings from this class, and comment on this. All papers should be at least 5-6 pages in APA format (Cover sheet, double spaced, one-inch margin, proper grammar, punctuation, etc.)
