Internet of things has evolved into vast ecosystem that intertwine our everyday life which can be as simple as turning on light or starting our car. But there are inherent risks too. This articles brings out both sides of the coin stating the duality nature of internet of things.

Advancement of web of things has progressively changed the academic and research organization by transforming the accessibility to the data from anywhere. This article dicusses about the application of IoT in making significant changes in academic and research information systems and sheds light on investigating few practical strategies for efficiently managing the IoT in academics and research.

In simpler words IoT is a scenario in which all the devices or machines having a unique identity signature that can be accessed over the internet and allow seamless intercommunication between the devices that are in the real world. RFID is one among such mode of communication for the devices. This article explains how the advent of IoT and RFID is bridging the gap between the real and virtual world.

Cite this in APA format including a webpage. Also Is this peer reviewed reference? IF not I need one more reference added to this essay.

This article talks about the significance of RFID in the logistics and supply chain management.

The articles that I have chosen in this case will help in conducting the second part. The first

thing is that the articles talk about the internet of things and RFID. They will help come up

with relevant information on the uses of IoT to the company, help come up with the benefits

of IoT, and finally discuss the use of RFID technology to the company.

Abstract

The internet of things has been used over the years. It changes the way businesses are conducted. The internet of things has taken over everything and helped define how businesses are done and how people can get to advance their business. With the internet of things, it has been easier for businesses to be able to identify how well they will advance in their operations and how they will attain a better competitive edge. The key aim is to ensure that things are done the right way, and the business is able to make the right profits with the right tools (Brous, Janssen & Herder, 2020). Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: These 2 statements are exactly the same.

Part two

There are various examples of using the internet of things within the company, and it also helps determine how well it will benefit the business. The example, in this case, is:

The first example that I will provide in this case is that the internet of things makes it easier to define the business process within the company. Through this, it is easier for the company being able to come up with ways on how they will coordinate activities within the business. It makes it easier to coordinate machines and how they get to function. There are ways in which the machines in the company are supposed to function for the better of the company. The internet if things of things in this makes it easier as the machine is made to be more efficient and will be able to function better (Makori, 2017). They will also become faster with the updated technology in the manner that the company will be taking little time in their production and manufacturing of products. IOT provided a better framework on how the whole process will function and how better the machines will be upgraded using the latest technology. A good example of these machines is which are used in the production site. Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: Machines like what? The reader needs to know what you’re saying. Give an example they can relate to. Not just saying production site is enough.

Another example of this is that it makes it easier for companies to be able to access information at all times. The reason for this is that IoT has made it easier for most companies to come up with the latest technology that they get to use in companies. They go for the best devices, which will make it easier for the company to advance in all its activities. Through IoT, people are able to determine what is going on in the various parts of the company. They are also able to tell some of the things that need to be done within the company and any changes that can be made in the company (Kaivo-Oja et al., 2015). One does not need to be present in the company so as they can bring up any changes. They can make any changes and follow the progress of the company from the comfort of their homes. The people, in this case, are able to come up with better ways on how they can work. Some can either work from home, as others can go on business trips and still follow the progress within the company. IoT has come up with an easier way whereby companies can hold meetings through the use of virtual recordings. It is much convenient and reliable in the manner that the company can be affected by any disaster and still be able to function well. IoT allows the people here to pass information to each other within the company regarding any issue or any contributions. They can also get to see the progress of other companies using the internet and be able to follow the enact the changes in the company. IoT, therefore, has provided companies with better ways on how they perform and access information (Da Xu, He & Li, 2014). Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: Please read this statement. It carries no meaning.

Question two

Its asset tracking: there are various ways in which IoT is used in the company. The keyways are that it helps brings meaning to the company and also a sense of direction. One of the key uses is that the company uses it in getting to track the business process at all times. With the internet of things, it is easier for the company to determine how well it will get to function and how its systems are being used. There are various things which are very crucial to the company. There is a thing such as the company tablets and laptops which are being used for the daily operations for the company. The other thing is that they are very costly and, in this case, needs to be protected at all times. The other thing that is worth noting here is theIt is important to note the fact that most of the employees are allowed to use these devices at all times. Most of them cannot be true to the company, and they may end up conducting activities that are malicious. It is here whereby the company opts to bring in IoT since it will be beneficial to the company. Through IoT, the company will come up with a tracking system that will track all its assets and systems that they get to use on a daily basis . The company hereand ensures that they could they get to track all thethings and devices. The most crucial is the information that is used and also the devices for the company. In the case where the company loses the tools and information, then it will cost them a lot in the manner that they will have to come up with additional information to retrieve them. IT assets is key in this case as it provides a better opportunity for the company to come up with an inventory of its products. They will make sure at all times that information and the assets of the company are well protected and kept safe at all times (Nath, Reynolds & Want, 2006). Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: Please re write this statement. This is a professional paper. Not a school essay Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: Rewrite the statement.

RFID (radio frequency identification) is key in the business as it helps in the supply chain and logistics visibility. Most companies in recent have had difficulty in getting to maintain their logistics and how they get to supply their products. in this case, most companies end up getting difficulties on how they will manage the logistics and the supply chain. Through the use of RFID in the company, it will help the company in getting to increase its efficiency at all times. The other thing is that it will help the company is improving its quality and also help them to reduce any errors that can be recorded. RFID, in this case, is used in the manner that it is used in getting to capture information that has been stored or that is attached to something. It helps the company at all times to come up with the rights ways on how they will manage their supply chain and logistics and how the company is likely to benefit from all this. The key aim is to make sure that the company makes progress at all times, and they do not get to encounter any issues with their logistics. In the manner there they do not come up with the right logistics, it will be difficult to be able to serve their customers better or being able to determine how they will advance in their production. They will also not be able to determine their suppliers and what is required of them. In this case, RFID, through the use of IoT, is able to come up with the right way on how they will manage the supplies and logistics of the company (Iyer, 2005). Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: Again these are exactly the same statements. This just looks like you’re trying to stuff the paper with repetitive stuff. Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: This is not a good statement formation Comment by Uddaraju, Srinadh [BWIUS Non-J&J]: How can they work together. You have to explain that. We are not explaining to a kid. It has to addressing you peers. Should be more descriptive.
