Analysis of a Pertinent Healthcare Issue
in the course requirements the paper for week 2 will again be resubmitted with the week 3 paper. I marked the items that needed to be corrected for the new submission with the week 3 assignment. I also provided you with an additional week to complete the week 3 paper. This will allow you time to revise and ask questions, along with the completion of the week 3 assignment. In your paper the markings identified:
I corrected the spacing and information on the title page so it will be correct when you revise it for week 3.
In the introductory paragraph, you are required to have a purpose statement.
In the first required section, you were to provide quantitative data from the organization which was omitted. You will have time to collect that data since you have an additional week to work on the revisions for resubmitting with your week 3 paper.
You omitted the complete section for the literature review. This section was to provide a brief summary of an article you reviewed from outside resources, on the issue and explain how the issue is being address in other organizations. You were to do this with at least two articles and integrate at least two to three more course-specific resources that support the subject.
Since the lit review was omitted you could not complete and validate all information in the strategy section. All strategies were to come from the lit review.
You then have two sections that I don't know what requirement they represent.
You only used three references for the entire paper. In the introductory paragraph, there should be a validation of the issue nationally. In the issue section, there should be a reference for the organization including quantitative data. The lit review was to have a minimum of four to five resources.
I hope that explains the grading which was done on a curve.
The rubric indicates you were to complete the first requirement by:
Describe the national healthcare issue/stressor you selected and its impact on your organization. Use organizational data to quantify the impact (if necessary, seek assistance from leadership or appropriate stakeholders in your organization).
You received 18.5 points instead of all points due to the lack of data. The response describes the national healthcare issue/stressor selected and its impact on an organization that is vague or inaccurate. The response includes vague or inaccurate data to quantify the impact of the national healthcare issue/stressor selected.
The second section on the rubric indicates you were to;
Provide a brief summary of the two articles you reviewed from outside resources, on the national healthcare issue/stressor and explain how the healthcare issue/stressor is being addressed in other organizations.
Although you omitted this entire section, I did provide with points rather than not grading this section at all which would have resulted in a 0.
The next section is strategies from the lit review and you did not have a lit review to complete the strategy section correctly. I did give you points for this rather than not providing any points.
