Each Question Set counts 100 points. Be sure your answers are well thought out and complete.

All questions and answers will be typed double spaced.

There are very few questions to which a couple of words are an acceptable answer. Questions with words like describe, compare, discuss and argument require thoughtful answers of at least a paragraph. If the question says what is your opinion or what do you think, then I want YOUR opinion. But you must also have something to back up why that’s your opinion. If you don't have one to begin with then think about the group discussions or the attitude of the films or authors. Talking about both points of view if you are ambivalent is also fine. Since you have ample time to work on these I will expect them to be at least a good paragraph or more. Do a rough draft of the questions before we discuss them. I will be walking around to see if everyone has notes during the small group discussion. In the large group discussion, I may call on people individually. Be prepared. If you don’t want to answer that question it is okay to say so. Feel Free to add to your answers based on the discussions. The questions are due the first class after the full class discussion.
