For countries, having peace with its neighbors is one the fundamental thing to celebrate, but for Israel and Palestine, this has never been the case. The feuds between these two countries have threatened the peace and relationships between these two nations. The conflict seems to have sprouted as early as the mid-20th century and escalated to the modern era (Smith, 2004). Several attempts by the international bodies to solve the conflict have failed dues to lack of goodwill from both countries in implementing a solution to the same problem.

The questions I will be asking in this topic are

· What are the root causes of the war: here, I will be focusing on the issue that brought about the conflict that has on several occasion to degenerated to physical wars between these two countries.

· Do territorial reasons play a central role in this conflict, here the paper will be examining whether national boundaries have escalated the war?

· Who is responsible for the war? The paper will try to examine who is likely to take the blame for the conflict.

Policy recommendation

· Use of international bodies like the UN in solving the conflict.

· Solving the case outside the court.

· Sharing of the territories that is the center for conflict

· Use of mediators in solving the conflict.
