Graphing Data Using Microsoft Excel 2013

1. Enter your alcohol Data.

2. Now, drag the heart rate data.

3. Click “Insert” on the top menu bar, and click on the graph picture.

4. Again click on the chart picture that is pointed.

4. Then you will see this graph, but you need to correct it.

5. Click on your chart, and then Design

6. Choose “ Select Data”

7. Click “Edit” and then ok.

8. You will see the following window, click on the small box.

9. Select the data that show the alcohol percentage and then press on the small box to see the

following window. Press ok.

10. Press ok again.

11. You will see the following window. But this chart needs to have labels for the X and Y axes and

the title descriptive. Click on the add Chart Element

12. Click primary Horizontal, and then type the alcohol percentage. Then click Primary Vertical, and

then type “Daphnia’s heart rate (BPM)”. Click on the chart title, type the title description. Your

title should have keywords Alcohol, Daphnia’s heart rate.
