PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

1. 6 to 8 minutes long

1. The presentation file must be in powerpoint (.pptx file)

1. If you choose to include video files, it MUST BE EMBEDDED in your powerpoint

1. Bring your presentation on a flash drive to the dry run on Monday and to the event on Wednesday morning

1. Email a final copy of your powerpoint to [email protected] by 5pm on the Tuesday before your presentation.

Here are some guidelines you can use as you create your presentation:

 

Minute 1 - Backstory & Credibility Builder – The Why and/or How your started or pivoted.

Minute 2 - Identification of Problem in the Market – Why your product/service?

Minute 3 - Intro of Product & How it Provides a Solution in the Market

Minute 4 - Identification of Customers & Competition – Your marketing plan.

Minute 5 - What is your Functional or Conceptual Competitive Advantage

Minute 6 - Identification of Problems & Next Steps

1. Large, clear font

1. If you choose to use a video it MUST BE EMBEDDED into your presentation.

1. Include a slide containing your contact information (i.e. logo, your name, email address, phone, website.)

1. Last slide should contain the response to "What can we, as a community, do to help you?"

[Please ask for direct help from the audience such as, “I am looking for a marketing person”, or “help with social media, advice on funding, a new location” etc. instead of just asking for awareness in social media.]
