Analyzing Diversity Recruiting Materials
Today many organizations make available a tremendous amount of information on their websites to support their recruiting efforts. Go to the websites of two of the Top 50 Companies for Diversity (see DiversityInc.com). Then select two companies from the Fortune500 who are in the top 50 companies for diversity (see http://money.cnn.com/magazines/fortune/fortune500).
Go to their websites. Examine the degree to which each organization promotes its commitment to diversity using the questions listed under number 3 on page 297 of the Canas & Sondak (2014) textbook to guide your analysis. Describe the strengths and weaknesses of each organization's website in terms of their representations and communications about their diversity commitment.
In a two to three page paper, compare and contrast the two Top 50 Diversity companies with the two Fortune 500 companies. Describe your analysis, key findings, and your conclusions. Utilize at least one of the readings on recruiting in your paper.
