- Students will identify and select a community organization that is local to them for which they will develop and integrate LGBTQ+ policies and actions to enhance experiences for the LGBTQ+ community. Students will submit their site of interest accompanied by a one paragraph (5 sentences) overview of the site and what issues they plan to address at their selected site.
- Each student will submit a 10-page paper on an organization of their choice that a) describes the site, including the site mission and services b) discuss how the site does or does not address issues related to the LGBTQ+ community, c) outline areas of development related to LGBTQ+ issues for the site, and d) develop responses related to the areas of development for the site which might include policy or practice changes.
