You will take your first essay (factual) and add 3 more pages to it for a total of 6 pages plus the Works Cited is 7 pages altogether.

Your research essay must address the counter argument of your topic:     

Example:    Claim:Your paper will have a claim. (thesis statement)

                  Counter Argument:  The opposing view of your claim/thesis.

                  Concession:  Considers the opposing idea

                  Rebuttal:  Proof against the counter argument and strengthens your claim.

For the research paper, you already have 3 pages on your topic, now you will add three more.  You may have to rearrange your paragraphs, but you will need to have a total of 6 pages, then your works cited.

example:  if you stated global warming is real, you must address the opinions that say it does not. ( Counter argument) if you stated online learning is best, you must address the opinions that say it is not.

Consider their reasoning and why they could possibly be correct ( Concession)

Next is your response on why they are incorrect and your proof that your answer is correcct. ( rebuttal)

All this without using I in the essay
