This project is worth 10% of your grade and will be the basis of your PowerPoint presentation worth another 10%

The report must be based on the predator/prey hypothesis you will test in iNaturalist using the two species you’ve chosen. It will be supported by the 2 peer reviewed scientific articles you will summarize. The report should include the following component Each section in bold below must be clearly indicated by a HEADING and must contain one paragraph.

1. Descriptive title: Include the type of study, area, species and question asked

2. Abstract: 1 sentence from Intro, Methods, Results, Discussion. End with “Data did/did not support the hypothesis”

3. Introduction: Describe both species & the interaction studied. Summarize both peer articles. State your hypothesis.

4. Methods: Describe iNaturalist and how it was applied to collect data. Describe your use of Excel for graphs/stat

5. Results: Include a fully labeled graph & a narrative describing the data and summary statistics (means/peaks/ranges)

6. Discussion: Describe how this study helps us better understand the interaction examined. State sources of bias/error & limitations of this study. State any new questions that arose, or state how you might improve on this study.
