Introduction
I. I can’t believe my hair is falling off, my hair is thinning, this can’t be, it feels as if I’m getting balder by the second.
A. Today over 80 million Americans suffer from a variety of pattern hair loss.
1. The majority of individuals don’t understand the causes of hair loss; ultimately misinform themselves about their medical condition.
B. Hair loss not only affects men around the world, women today are seeking medical attention for the same condition.
C. I have learned a lot about hair loss and did further research into this subject to better understand and educate you about a breakthrough technology that will cure this condition.
D. Today, I would like to inform you about Hair Regeneration; more commonly known as Hair Cloning, who is a candidate for it, and how it will be the ultimate solution and cure for many men and women suffering from pattern hair loss today.
(Before I begin to talk about Hair Cloning, let’s go back for a moment and start with the nature of hair loss)
Body
II. Hair loss is a medical condition that affects both men and women around the world
A. As defined by the U.S. National Library of Medicine, hair loss or baldness is a genetic trait.
1. Unlike what we’ve been told, it’s not necessarily passed down from maternal grandfather.
2. Medical science has come to learn that baldness genes are actually passed down from both sides of the family.
B. According to Dr. Andrews, there is one special hormone in the body which is the major cause of hair loss.
1. Hair loss is caused by a male hormone called Dihydrotestosterone or DHT.
2. Besides being hereditary, hair loss can also be caused by other factors like stress.
C. The current major treatment for hair loss today is surgical transplantation.
1. This treatment can provide a permanent solution to “some” people.
2. Not everyone is considered a candidate for hair transplantation as many may not have sufficient donor hair which is primarily taken from the back and sides of the head; the area not affected by DHT.
(Now that we have a better understanding of hair loss, let’s look at the breakthrough technology that will ultimately provide a cure to these patients)
III. Aderans Research, the institute behind this breakthrough technology, have their own name for Hair Cloning, “The Art of Multiplication”
A. As defined by Aderans Research, cellular hair regeneration offers a remarkable solution to the problem.
1. Cellular regeneration encourages follicular cells to reproduce themselves via methods Aderans calls the Ji Gami process, practically an unlimited number of hair-generation cellular units can be produced.
2. Dr. Washenik the leading scientist at Aderans, states that a small piece of tissue is removed from the neckline. Cells are cultivated in controlled conditions where they are encouraged to multiply by the addition of proprietary growth media. When enough new cells are formed, they are returned to the scalp, where they are injected and elicit new hair growth and thickness, ultimately producing more hair than the patient initially had before.
B. Candidates for Hair Regeneration may no longer be limited by the number of hairs on their head.
C. Aderans envisions a time when crowns (vertex area of the head) can be covered full, natural hair regardless of the degree of hair loss.
(Now that you know about Hair Cloning, let’s look at availability, which patient is it for and the anticipation for it by millions of people around the world)
IV. Hair Cloning is virtually going to be the cure for anyone suffering from hair loss once it becomes mainstream among medical science.
A. In “Trans-Gender Introduction of Hair Follicles” Johada says that cellular hair regeneration is a cutting edge technique that promises to address the riddle of finite number of hair follicles.
1. In the past, hair loss treatments, including surgical transplantation or medication, faced a troublesome problem: the finite number of hairs on an individual’s head limited the degree of redistribution possible.
2. Once a person begins to lose hair, his or her supply of hair-generation follicles necessarily diminish.
B. Hair Cloning should be readily available within the next 2-3 years.
C. For a long time, people have anticipated a solution to the problem.
1. I used an I Love Lucy episode as an example. Here, Ricky Ricardo thinks he is going bald and is seeking for a solution to his conditions. Lucy who is in disbelief tries her best to scare him from even thinking he is losing his hair, so she goes to the extreme by using treatments available during that time period. (Peanut butter, eggs, etc.)
Conclusion
V. As you can see, clearly there are many people around the world who suffer from hair loss, but that conditions will finally be cured.
A. Most conditions in today’s medical books like Acne, don’t have a cure, but those who suffer from hair loss will finally be able to walk proudly knowing they are getting their hair back helping them look younger again.
