Body:

I. For this banana pudding recipe you will need several ingredients and household kitchen items.

A. First, you’ll need to gather all of your food ingredients.

1. You will need one 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk, 1 ½ cups cold water, 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix, 2 cups heavy cream, 3 bananas sliced, ½ cup lemon juice, and 36 plus vanilla wafers.

2. You may use more vanilla wafers if you want, so it’s a good idea to have extra.

B. The following household items are needed to make this dessert.

1. One medium mixing bowl will be needed to mix a few of the ingredients.

2. You’ll need another mixing bowl to whip the cream separately from any of the other ingredients.

3. You will also need a knife to slice the bananas, a spoon to mix with, and serving dish.

(Transition: Now let’s get started on mixing, blending, and cutting.)

II. There are four steps involved in making this delicious banana pudding.

A. You will need the medium mixing bowl, the condensed milk, water, and pudding mix.

1. In the medium bowl, stir together the condensed milk and water.

2. Next, beat in the pudding mix until smooth.

3. Then you will need to chill in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes.

B. For the next step you will need the other bowl and heavy cream.

1. In the bowl whip the cream until it forms stiff peaks.

2. Then you will need to fold the cream into the pudding mixture from the previous step.

C. You will now need the knife, bananas, and lemon juice.

1. Slice the bananas into small circle slices.

2. Next you will need to dip the sliced bananas into the lemon juice.

3. Be sure to shake off any excess lemon juice.

D. We are now on the last step of making this scrumptious dessert.

1. Get your serving bowl and spoon in 1 cup of pudding mixture.

2. Top with one third of each of the wafers, bananas, and remaining pudding.

3. You will repeat the layers twice.

4. Finally, chill until ready to serve.
