Infographic project
Infographic Project
Criteria
· Create a new and unique infographic. This means that it cannot be anywhere on the internet in order to get credit.
· Infographic can be about anything you would like, as long as it is interesting to you and has lots of data associated with it!
· Infographic must make the viewer want to take some action. For example: An infographic about EWaste should have not only lots of data about EWaste, but also should make the viewer want to take action. You can also have some items on there that show what types of action people can take.
· Infographic must have at least 4 charts that you have created with the numbers you found in your research.
· Infographic must have at least 8 significant data items on it (this does NOT include the information in the charts). This totals 12 elements in all (8 significant statistics and 4 charts).
· All charts have to be created within the tool and not ‘lifted’ from the web.
· Infographic must reflect true and accurate data. This means that all data must be real data from a verifiable and credible source. Please add the source(s) of the data in a separate citation word document as well as in the Infographic. No citations needed, just a references Word document in APA format https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/research_and_citation/apa_style/apa_formatting_and_style_guide/reference_list_basic_rules.html
· Infographic must be turned in two ways:
1. .gif, .jpeg, or .png.
2. .pdf
· Infographic length MUST BE between 2 and 5 pages landscape (max of 11 x 42.5) as per the print preview in the .pdf file. Each file must be below 3 GB in size (see diagram at the end of this document).
· You can use any infographic software you like (Canva is recommended because of downloading/printing capabilities available with no extra charges). It is your responsibility to make sure that the images and PDF files are downloadable as 1 file each and of the correct size.
· Make sure your infographic looks like an infographic! Also, it needs to be easy to read and understand.
· This is an individual project.
· The projects will be presented and voted upon.
· Do NOT include your name on the infographic.
· If you are the winner in your class, it will be your responsibility to print out your infographic for the display window.
· The infographics MUST meet the size and shape requirements to be accepted.
· NAMING CONVENTION of the files. The file name MUST BE the title of your infographic !!
