Procedure

1. Read the procedure and safety information, and complete the lab form.

2. Create an inclined plane between 25° and 50° using a board and textbooks. Place a stop block (brick or other heavy object) at the end of the plane.

3. Place a small object in a cart and allow both to roll down the plane. Record the results.

4. Secure the object in the cart with rubber bands (safety belts). Allow both to roll down the plane again. Record the results.
