Inequality DB. Week 11

The last two articles in the syllabus on the unit on inequality cover ways to address the problem of widening inequality. Similarly, the last article in the syllabus on the unit on poverty discussed ways to address the problem of increasing poverty. Share what you think are the most important strategies for reducing (or ideally even preventing) poverty AND inequality. Include which issue (poverty and/or inequality) each strategy is intended to address and how you know (beyond just which article it came from). There are countless suggestions so please don't simply agree with the same strategy and explanation of a classmate who responded before you.
