Abstract

This section is an abstract section and the words in this section, title, toc, images, and references will not be counted in the report limit. The maximum word count for the whole essay is 3000 words. This section is a synopsis of what the essay is about so expecting 100 to 200 words only. This section is about background of the theoretical content of what you are discussing. Please do support it with references as much as you can and if you are using your coursework or some other error messages from internet then do reference wherever it is possible.

Last page – The total number of words should be 3000 words. Spacing between the lines in all pages should be 1.5. I am expecting quality content not quantity. If you are short 10% either way you do not have worry, it is perfectly acceptable but writing 500 pages like CMM is not acceptable and the other hand writing 5 pages like ISO is also not acceptable. You have a fault tolerance rate of 10% either side.

2. You can put someone’s quotes in, but not a para in. Try to adapt it to your content or to the point you are trying to make. The contents can be reflective as well or it can be from your work experience or the project you are working in.

3. Do be aware the Turnitin has the intelligence to pick out plagiarism which will be referred to discipline committee which none of us want.

4. You can submit it online (multiple submits by the way) using Turnitin. Make sure your naming convention of this file should SurnameFirstnameKUNumber.xyz

6. I had occasions where students have tried to submit just 2 minutes before the deadline time and were not successful because of the time variance between your computer and university computers. Make sure you do submit with minutes to spare. Lots of factor can come into play like your network, incompatibility of documents you are submitting etc. So give yourselves enough time to be able to overcome last minute firefighting problems.
