PERSPECTIVES OF INCREASE IN ADHD DIAGNOSIS

Recently, there is an increase in the diagnosis of ADHD and other related behavioral diseases in American society. The increasing behavioral disorder in American society is a matter of concern since it increases Americans living with mental illness. Psychiatrists explain that increasing behavioral disorder is because of various societal issues such as increased indoor living, poor sleep habits, addictive violence video games, and addictive drugs. Another perspective is that the cases of ADHD in society are increasing because of the inadequate treatment of patients with a behavioral disorder. My perspective is that the cases of ADHD are increasing because of exposure f young children to factors that increase the chances of developing ADHD (Nielsen, 2019).

My perspective differs from other perspective since it reflects on why there are many cases of ADHD in young children. My perspective is different from other people's perspectives since it aims at identifying the factors that cause ADHD in young children. If ADHD in young children can be avoided, it would be easy to manage the cases of ADHD that develop in mature people.
