PhD candidates should provide an authentic personal statement reflecting on their own person interest (Statement). In the event that any outside resources are used, those should be cited in APA format. Statement should be a maximum of 500 words answering the following questions:

· What are your research interests in the area of Information Technology?

· Why are you inspired to possibly research in this area and/or why do you think it is important to research in this area?

2. For Oral Test (Individual Test) Please answer the following questions:

· Why you select PhD in Information Technology and why at our University?

· As an individual, what are your strengths and weakness and how will they impact you as a PhD student?   

· Where do you see the future of Information Technology going and where do you see yourself in this mix after obtaining PhD – Information Technology from our University?

· Describe new and different info about below mentioned subjects and also next big thing in IT

· Information governance

· Enterprise risk management

· Data science and big data analytics

· Information Technology importance in strategic planning

· Cyber Security

The second one which is For Oral Test should be approx 2 - 3 pages. (Which I have to elaborate it in oral which is not for written)

Don’t make personal statements too abstract

Avoid Cliché’s please (Something different from regular statements)

Conveying weakness in a positive way

Documents should be very positive (No negativity)
