Health care organizations can promote compliance and responsibility in various ways. Compliance can be achieved through establishing and adopting policies, standards, procedures, and standards of conduct. It will help the people within the organization to adjust and fit into the procedure adopted by the organization. The creation of oversight programs within the organization helps to understand who oversee compliance program (Nicol et al., 2019). In this case, Immunization is one of the programs that require compliance and responsibility to both the patients and the clinical officers. Compliance on time and date the Immunization is administered and responsibility to ensure no skipping or repeating Immunization.
Immunization programs have an advantage for the community. Through Immunization, the health care organizations can prevent numerous infections and diseases related to health programs and the well-being of the human race. Furthermore, Immunization helps ensure protection from danger or health harm that might come due to natural causes or outbreaks of diseases. (Murthy, 2022). Hence this program requires a responsible mind and compliance to ensure its accomplishment. The best example of the effects of Immunization within the health care organization can be the pandemic brought by Covid-19. In addition, health care initiatives like Immunization help reduce antitrust issues such as boycotts.
In health care, Immunization can be the best fit for our patients, nursing homes, children's care, and community services where there is easy access to the patients and the people who require the Immunization. Senior citizens can also receive Immunization within the community to help protect them from an outbreak of diseases and infection. To some extent, Immunization administration helps boost the immune system in patients with low immune systems. In addition, immunizations are administered to patients susceptible to some form of the disease to protect them against the infections.
Immunization is mainly given to children at a younger age to help protect them from diseases like rickets, which might interfere with their growth and development (Murthy, 2022). Immunization is specifically for health care organizations and settings since it involves the treatment and prevention of known and unknown diseases. In a recognized healthcare facility, whether a private or public hospital, Immunization is done by trained healthcare workers, including nurses and doctors.
