Discussion-1 comment 100 words. The organizations, with the advent of internet, take a lot of care of information security but somewhere they loss connection with the physical security. But yes, the physical security is also very important and should not be overlooked. If the security in the organization is not maintained efficiently than the measures of security would be useless, as when any attacker gets into a system or organization it gets the physical access ("The Importance of Physical Security in the Workplace", 2020). The main purpose of having the physical security is protecting the facilities and assets of any organization. With the help of the physical security, the employees of the organization get safe and secured. The organization uses various physical security measures like:
1. Firewall Installation: The organizations can install firewalls in their systems which avoid the entry of attackers and intruders which brings solid physical security.
2. Installation of CCTV’s: The organization can install CCTV’s which can monitor every on-going process and activity of the employees, staff-members, customers etc. A main source room ca be maintained in the organization where the allotted and authorized person or persons can observe the activities and these activities get recorded in the system and in case of any issue, the recording can be checked and necessary actions could be taken in case of any problem.
3. Fire Extinguisher: The company’s can keep fire extinguishers at various places in the organization and in case of fire the people can use extinguishers to safeguard the company, its resources, employees, customers etc.
4. Smart Cards: The organizations can install smart card detections with the employees and other authorities in the company, this will enable and ensure the entry of only authorized personalities in the organizations ("What Is Physical Security & Why It Is Important | Agio", 2020).
5. Guards: The organizations can keep guards at the gate which ensures the restricted entries. The guards are the faces which enables the company to have physical security in the organizations.

Physical security tells security methods implemented to restrict the unauthorised access into facilities, equipment and resources an to safeguard the employees and assets from damage or loss. Physical security is a multilayered integrated system consists of CCTV surveillance, security guards, safety barriers, access controls, premises intrusion detection, prevention systems, fire safety etc.
Prevention systems: the aim of prevention systems is to indicate unlikeliest of an attack. This is the first layer of security of the facility includes warning signs, fences, vehicle barriers, restricted access points, trenches etc.
Natural surveillance design can be incorporated while constructing the building to have open spaces which increases the visibility for security personnel(Crowell, et, al, 2011).
Security lightning near entry and exit ways, gates, doors will help in observing the people passing through these entry ways. Attackers will be feared of being caught in well lit areas. Electronic surveillance and intrusion detection systems : These detection systems include different types of sensors, which enable alarm incase of unauthorised access or damage. This alarm system will alert the security personnel for immediate action. CCTV surveillance is monitor the facility, cannot restrict the entry of the attacker and useful in reviewing the attack.
Access control: they are useful in monitor and control of the personnel through unique entry points. Two types of access controlling systems are mechanical and electronic. Mechanical access control systems include turnstiles, gate, doors, and locks. Electronic access control systems are helpful in large population usage, controlling the lifecycle time, date and individual access points. Security department plays a integral role in every layer of security(Dufour & Jean-Yves, 2012).
