Advocacy Letter

If you could write a letter to a business, school newspaper, politician, local leader, organization or group regarding LGBTQ+ issues, to whom would you write? Would you write the letter in praise of their stance and policies regarding LGBTQ issues or, conversely, would you write to raise awareness and advocate? You can write to anyone in the world but I do ask that they be a real person or business.

 

This assignment will provide you the opportunity to write a 1-2 page, typed and professionally formatted letter to one of the above mentioned and take your stand!  Remember to write this as a professional business letter and to follow proper formatting.  It is worth 100 points.

The ONLY acceptable templates: 

In word: Search letters; business

Resignation letter due to retirement

Letter responding to request for job references

Reference letter for managerial employee

 Letter requesting assistance with job search

Letter of resignation due to merger

Reference letter for professional employee

Letter of resignation due to conflict with boss

There are a few others but you should see a pattern here. They all match the template provided in the example. DO NOT use templates with colors or mismatched font types and sizes.
